It's been two years since we started in lieu and introduced our very first product: the Avery Hoodie.
To celebrate, we're finally bringing Avery back. The original colourways were inspired by tea, so it only felt right to pay homage to that first release in a special way. Over the weekend of 18-19 July, we'll be opening a pop-up café with some of our closest and most talented friends.
We've created a selection of specialty drinks with two of Sydney's best home café creators, @karashomecafe and @matchajoanna, using tea leaves from our good friends at @chawu_tea tea as the perfect base.
Alongside the drinks, you'll find Avery-inspired baked goods and desserts by @miji__bakery, @pastryroche and @blancsbake, as well as fried pizzas from @frittasbyozzo for anyone craving something savoury.
Of course, it wouldn't be a true in lieu experience without celebrating the creatives around us.
Join us on Saturday morning for a live bonsai pruning session with Billy from @tildysbonsai, or visit on Sunday morning to watch Gwyneth from @flowersbygwyneth create live ikebana arrangements.
We've collaborated with artist @bb.mew on an exclusive artwork inspired by in lieu's philosophy, on display throughout the pop-up weekend.
Come by, pull up and stay for a while. Have your portrait drawn by @loveantyy or @yokizdesign, spend some time with the kittens from @chaandzaks, or simply enjoy the space with us.
